# Error Establishing Database Connection

**Situation**
The client is seeing Error Establishing Database Connection.

**Reasons**
Generally, this is the following reason that causes this error :
 The PHP code was unable to connect with your MySQL database to retrieve the information it needs to build that page.
It can issue from the hosting side.

**Communication to Client**
Tell the client that this error is caused due to the above-mentioned reason. In order to fix the issue, our development team has to troubleshoot the issue. Client's Hosting URL.

Importantly: Verify the credentials then and there over the phone or via chat.
